Not like being a star in Flickr but... ;-)

Yesterday I finished the setup at Oyster Bay Gallery of Photography.
I put there The Wastelands series.
Petronilla (Paperdoll) sent some of them to Vig Morris, the creator and owner and artist of Oyster Bay Museum. He loved it. You know, I still feel embarrassed when someone, and above all when someone credited as Vig, appreciate my photos.

I swear! I did not pay him!!!

Lexa Dryke just published the article and interview about the Newton Exhibit on SLEnquirer.

He really touched me. I never expected such a positive review about the Exhibit.

I'm grateful he mentioned Laura work for the project. Without her fantastic poses, my photos would not have been here.

Take some time to read the interview. Fox stopped running for a while and tried to tell something about him :-)

Around Second Life

I cleaned up the Exhibit floor, put my camera in the backpack and started a new TP and shot time in SL.
I had some interesting SIMs I wanted to phoptograph since months.
Now, considering also noboby seem to need commercial photos, a lot of time in my pocket.

"Sex and the Virtual Landscape" after week 1

Very interesting results for the Newton Tribute exhibit.
Since last week opening more than 450 uniques visitors teleported to gallery.
I would really like to say thanks to everyone who visited, and appreciated, the exhibit.

Also a lot of interest from SL Magazines.
Avastar published a preview the week before the opening.
sl-newspaper.com this week a very positive article.
This week and the next one SLEnquirer.com and hello-sl.info.
I'm just sad to note how all the italian magazines and groups in SL I contacted, ignored it.
Nemo profeta in patria? Or maybe they are too tied to particular SIMs and economic interests in SL?
Yes I know an answer could be "maybe they just are not interested in it". It would have been my answer too 2 weeks ago, but after the feedback I won't swear anymore.
